Ingredients

Crust
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs Finely crushed for firm crust.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Helps control salt.
Filling
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped Toast for extra flavor if you like.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz) Pour slowly for even coverage.
  • 1 cup shredded coconut

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 inch pan with foil and lightly grease it.
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a compact, even crust.
  3. Layer the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips evenly over the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the chips.
  5. Pour the sweetened condensed milk slowly and evenly across the whole pan so it seeps between the chips.
  6. Scatter the shredded coconut over the top and press lightly so it sticks to the condensed milk.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 25–30 minutes, watching for golden edges and bubbling along the sides to confirm it's done.
  2. Let the pan cool on a rack until set, then chill briefly for cleaner slices and cut into bars.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Use pre-chopped pecans to save time. If your crust crumbles, press it more firmly and chill before adding layers. A pinch of sea salt on top can be a simple variation.
