- Dice the tomatoes into roughly 1/2-inch pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Open the cracker sleeve and crush the crackers in the bag to medium crumbs; add them to the bowl.
- Scoop in the mayonnaise and sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the top.
- Slice the green onions thin and toss them in for a bright oniony note.
- Gently mix with a large spoon until everything is evenly coated and the crackers pick up some moisture; they should be soft but still offer little crunch.
- Taste, then season with salt and a few turns of black pepper.
- Serve immediately so the crackers keep a pleasant texture and you get that buttery crunch against juicy tomato.

Time-saver: Use pre-shredded cheese to cut prep in half. If tomatoes get too watery, drain a bit of juice before mixing to avoid soggy crackers. Stir in a pinch of smoked paprika for warmth and depth.
