Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • ½ cup quick oats Pantry staple, quick to soften
  • ¼ cup peanut butter Creamy or chunky both work
  • 2 tablespoons honey Binds and sweetens naturally
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips Use semi-sweet for balance

Method

Preparation
  1. Measure oats and chocolate chips into a medium bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Add the peanut butter; dollop it across the oats for easier mixing.
  3. Drizzle the honey over the mix and begin stirring with a spoon.
  4. Press and fold the mixture, scraping the bowl sides so nothing sticks.
  5. When the dough holds together when pinched, it is ready.
  6. Scoop into 12 even portions using a teaspoon or small cookie scoop.
  7. Roll each scoop between your hands until smooth and round.
  8. Place bites on a plate and let them set for 10–15 minutes before transferring to storage.

Notes

Time-saver: Use a small cookie scoop for uniform bites. If the mixture is crumbly, add ½ teaspoon more honey or peanut butter and press again. For a twist, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or a teaspoon of maple syrup.
