Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 2 cups Chocolate cookie crumbs Recommended: Oreo cookies for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Melted.
For the filling
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Fresh.
  • 1 cup Semisweet chocolate chips Use high-quality brands for best flavor.
  • 2 large Eggs Whisked.
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
For topping
  • 2 cups Mini marshmallows Can substitute with regular marshmallows.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter, mixing until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
Baking the Crust
  1. Bake the crust for 10 minutes until set. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
Making the Filling
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the heavy cream until it's just about to boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually whisk in the melted chocolate mixture until fully combined.
Assembling the Pie
  1. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust and return it to the oven.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set but still slightly wobbly in the center.
  3. In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle mini marshmallows on top for an extra layer of sweetness.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
  2. Garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.
