Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, add the shredded chicken, chopped celery, drained mandarin oranges, and slivered almonds. Toss gently to combine.
  2. In a medium bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and black pepper until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture in the large bowl. Gently fold everything together, taking care not to mash the mandarin oranges.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, give the salad a gentle stir and serve cold.

Notes

For best results, let the cream cheese soften to room temperature before mixing. Adjust seasoning to taste. Chill for at least 4 hours for optimal flavor.
