Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of apricot preserves with 1-2 minced jalapeƱos, stirring in 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat it over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it begins to simmer.
  3. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce cook for about 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
  4. Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool before spooning it over your favorite dishes.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Can be frozen for up to 3 months, thaw overnight in the fridge. Reheat gently on the stove over low heat.
