  • 1 cup shredded cheese For topping before baking.
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil For brushing wontons.
  • 1 pinch salt To flavor the dip and wontons.

Wonton Chips
  • 12 pieces wonton wrappers Cut into triangles for chips.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut wonton wrappers into triangles, place on a baking sheet, brush lightly with oil, and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Bake wontons for 6 to 9 minutes until crispy.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  5. Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Gently fold in crab meat to avoid breaking it.
Baking
  1. Spread the mixture in a baking dish, top with shredded cheese, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  2. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Serving
  1. Drizzle with sweet chili sauce if desired before serving.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcrowd the baking sheet for wontons. Use room temperature ingredients for smoother mixing. High-quality crab meat is recommended for best flavor. You can customize this dip with spicy ingredients or extra cheese.
