  • 2 pieces salmon fillets (skin-on) Use skin-on for moisture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter Unsalted butter helps control salt.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for bigger flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika Optional: add smoked paprika for variation.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Optional fresh thyme or dill can be used.

Method
 

Grilling Salmon
  1. Preheat the grill over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub each fillet with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 6 minutes without flipping.
  4. Flip gently and grill for an additional 5-7 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
Making Lemon Butter Sauce
  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest, then let the sauce simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in chopped parsley and optional herbs.
Serving
  1. Plate the salmon and spoon the warm lemon butter sauce over the top.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

For variations, consider adding a pinch of smoked paprika or swapping herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
