Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls and wrap each quartered apple with one roll, ensuring the apple is fully enclosed.
  3. Place the wrapped apples seam-side down in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  4. Dust the tops of the dumplings with ground cinnamon.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, orange juice, and sugar over medium heat until melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and pour the sauce evenly over the dumplings in the baking dish.
Baking
