Ingredients
  

Jalapeño Filling
  • 10 pieces fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded Remove seeds to reduce heat.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Soften cream cheese to blend smoothly.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use sharp cheddar for bold flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Bacon Wrapping
  • 10 slices bacon, cut in half
For Serving
  • as needed pieces toothpicks for securing (optional) Toothpicks may be used for easy serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and green onions. Mix until smooth and well blended, adjusting seasoning to taste.
Assembly
  1. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, packing gently.
  2. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
  3. Arrange the wrapped jalapeños seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the bacon is deep golden.
  2. Let cool for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For more heat, drizzle a bit of hot sauce before serving. You can prep jalapeños and filling ahead and assemble before baking.
