  • 1 jar Marinara sauce Chunky sauce adds texture.
  • 2 cups Cheese (mozzarella or a blend) Shred whole-milk mozzarella for melt.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spoon a thin, even layer of marinara on the dish bottom to prevent ravioli from sticking.
  3. Lay a single layer of ravioli over the sauce, snug but not crowded.
  4. Sprinkle a generous layer of cheese so it melts into every crevice.
  5. Repeat layers until you use all the ravioli and sauce, finishing with a thick blanket of cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden with tiny brown spots.
  3. Let it rest for 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.

Notes

For crisp edges, use a ceramic or glass baking dish. For a simple variation, stir fresh basil into the top layer for added brightness. Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze in portions for up to 2 months.
