Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts Use fresh cutlets for tender results.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh minced garlic gives a powerful flavor.
  • 3/4 cup Heavy cream Creates a rich and smooth sauce.
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated Freshly grated melts better.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil or butter Use whichever you prefer for cooking.

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to make cutlets and pat them dry. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Move the chicken to a plate.
  2. Lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic to the same skillet. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and stir to scrape up the browned bits. Let it simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. Simmer for another 2 to 3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Serve with a sprinkle of parsley and an optional squeeze of lemon juice.

Notes

Pro Tips for Success: Don’t overcrowd the pan; bring the cream to room temperature; and use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F for safe consumption.
