  • 250 g thick yoghurt (Greek or Skyr) Greek yoghurt preferred for richness.
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise Use quality mayonnaise for optimal creaminess.
Flavor enhancers
  • 0.5 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped Adds aromatic quality.
  • 50 g pickles (gherkin or cornichons), finely chopped Cornichons recommended for crunch.
  • 2 tbsp pickle juice Adds zing and moisture.
Seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, blend 250g thick yoghurt and 2 tablespoons mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped fresh dill, pickles, and 2 tablespoons of pickle juice.
  3. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine all ingredients thoroughly until well incorporated.
  5. Refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes to allow flavors to develop (optional).
  6. Serve topped with crispy onions and extra cornichons with chips or fresh veggies.

Notes

Bring ingredients to room temperature for best blending. Adjust seasoning as needed. This dip is perfect for gatherings.
