Preparation

- Slice the Italian bread into 2-inch thick rounds and hollow out the centers.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt half of the butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from heat and chop into small pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, parsley, minced garlic, and chopped shrimp until creamy and well blended.
Assembly and Baking
- Fill each hollowed bread round generously with the shrimp mixture.
- Drizzle with remaining melted butter and sprinkle extra mozzarella on top if desired.
- Bake on the prepared baking sheet for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
Notes
