Ingredients

For the Poppers
  • 6 pieces fresh jalapeños, halved and seeds removed Use firm jalapeños for easy stuffing.
  • 6 oz brie cheese, cut into small chunks Brie at room temp melts more evenly.
  • 12 slices deli ham, prosciutto, or bacon Prosciutto crisps fastest; bacon gives smokiness.
  • 1/3 cup blueberry preserves Drizzle on top before serving.
  • 1 pinch black pepper or flaky salt Optional garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (or heat your air fryer to 375°F). Line a sheet or basket.
  2. Halve the jalapeños and scoop out seeds. Rinse and pat dry.
  3. Press a small chunk of brie into each jalapeño half.
  4. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a slice of ham, prosciutto, or bacon; secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Place the poppers seam-side down on the baking sheet or fryer basket, leaving space for air circulation.
Cooking
  1. Bake or air fry for about 15–20 minutes until softened jalapeños, bubbling brie, and golden edges appear.
  2. Remove from heat when the filling bubbles and meat edges crisp.
  3. Drizzle each popper with blueberry preserves and add a pinch of flaky salt if desired.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Avoid freezing as the texture of jalapeños changes. To reheat, warm in a 350°F oven for 8–10 minutes.
