Preparation
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8–10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk the softened cream cheese with the milk until smooth and silky.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the cream cheese mixture and toss gently.
- Fold in ½ cup shredded mozzarella and ¼ cup Parmesan until melted.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch dish.
- Transfer the pasta mixture into the dish and smooth it out.
- If adding cooked meat or vegetables, layer them in now.
- Sprinkle remaining ½ cup mozzarella and ¼ cup Parmesan over the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- For a deeper crust, broil 2–3 minutes at the end, watching closely.
- Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Tip: Use fresh garlic for bigger flavor. Utilize leftover meat to save time.
