Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 1 box Cake mix Store brand without pudding in the mix recommended for best texture.
  • 2 cups Warm water
  • 2 packages Rapid rise yeast Ensures quick and fluffy rise.
  • 6.25-6.5 cups All-purpose flour Adjust based on humidity.
  • 1 tablespoon Salt To be added with flour.
  • 2 large Beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar Combined with cinnamon for filling.
  • 2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon For flavoring the filling.
  • 1/2 cup Margarine or butter Softened for spreading.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, warm water, and yeast. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add the beaten eggs and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in 6¼ to 6½ cups of flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  4. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Shaping and Second Rise
  1. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle.
  2. Spread softened margarine or butter on top and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  3. Cut the dough into strips and roll each strip into a roll.
  4. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.

Notes

For best results, bring all ingredients to room temperature and do not skip the first rise. You can customize the recipe by adding nuts or dried fruit.
